With the Swahili House project, JEKMA offers Kiswahili language courses for both beginners and advanced learners in German or English.

Our qualified language teacher, Zawadi Towo, conducts lessons online and in person. Zawadi studied Kiswahili to become a teacher and spent 18 months in Germany as a federal volunteer.

Depending on the learners’ needs, she teaches in German or English.

Courses are currently offered in Moshi and Mwika, with additional locations around Moshi possible. Bookings can be made individually or as a group.

Participants in our courses include mainly volunteers (e.g. WELTWÄRTS) and interns engaged in teaching and social work.
