In cooperation with the sending organisation IB Internationaler Bund in Kassel, Germany, JEKMA NGO offers placements for volunteers from Germany in Tanzania and from Tanzania in Germany.
We support quality education for children and youth in Moshi, providing school supplies, scholarships, and learning programs that open doors to opportunity.
Our job training and entrepreneurship programs equip young people and women with practical skills to secure employment and start sustainable businesses.
We promote environmental conservation in Moshi through tree planting, clean-up campaigns, and sustainable farming initiatives that protect our planet for future generations.
JEKMA (Jamii Elimu Kazi Mazingira) is a non-profit organization founded in Tanzania in September 2019 by a group of people from Tanzania and Germany who have been working together in education and social work for several years.
With head office located at Majengo Moshi in Kilimanjaro Region, the primary aim of JEKMA is to deal with Community issues particularly Education, Social Works, Work and Environment.
